The Forefront of Human Development

The Forefront of Human Development - Integral Meta Theory

At Integral8, we stand at the forefront of human development and transformation, guided by the profound insights of Integral Meta Theory. Developed by Ken Wilber, a luminary in the realm of consciousness and human evolution, Integral Meta Theory offers a comprehensive framework that synthesises the wisdom of the world's great spiritual, scientific, and philosophical traditions. It is not just a theory but a living map that guides individuals through the complexities of personal growth and development, allowing for a journey that is as unique as each individual.

The Einstein of Consciousness

Ken Wilber, often hailed as the "Einstein of consciousness studies," is an intellectual giant whose work transcends conventional boundaries. With 35 books translated into some 30 languages, he stands as America's most translated academic writer, illuminating the minds of readers worldwide. Wilber's vision of an integral “theory of everything” has drawn acclaim for its ability to weave together disparate strands of human knowledge and experience into a cohesive whole. As the founder of the Integral Institute and co-founder of Integral Life, his work has not only sparked academic and philosophical discourse but has also found practical application in addressing contemporary global issues.

A beautiful award winning video written and created by Dr Alan Watkins at Complete and narrated by Ken Wilber describing how the breakthrough to an Integral perspective would unlock our highest potential and positively transform all dimensions of our existence into an Integral Society.

Why Does Integral Meta Theory Matter?

Why does Integral Matter? In a world that is rapidly changing and increasingly interconnected, we find ourselves grappling with growing divisiveness and uncertainty. Political, national, religious, ethnic, and socio-economic differences drive wedges in our collective human experience.

In this landscape, Integral Theory emerges not just as a beacon of understanding but as a vital tool for reconciliation and progress. It invites us to move beyond polarised views and embrace a more inclusive, holistic perspective. This is not about discarding the old but about integrating and transcending it.

At Integral8, while we are not directly affiliated with Ken Wilber or the Integral Institute, we are deeply trained in, apply and embody, the frameworks and maps of Integral Meta Theory, and have worked with and/or been coached and trained by senior members of the Integral lineage, including Ken Wilber, Diane Musho Hamilton, Dr Alan Watkins, Daniel P. Brown, Steve Beckett and Dustin DiPerna.

We integrate training from Integral Coaching Canada, the Complete Coaching System, Integral Life and many other Schools, sources, and traditions.

We apply these powerful concepts in our coaching and meditation practices, helping leaders navigate the complexities of both their professional and personal lives.

Wake Up, Grow Up, Open Up, Clean Up and Show Up

An increasing number of leaders and people are waking up, growing up, opening up, cleaning up and showing up very differently.  They’re developing beyond the traditional right and wrong or partial mindset. To operate from a new more inclusive more complete view.  An integral view.

By adopting an integral approach, you are empowered to see beyond myopic viewpoints, to embrace a broader spectrum of perspectives – East meets West, past meets present, and traditional meets modern and post-modern.

So instead of getting stuck, in narrow, adversarial, attitudes and beliefs. We're awakening to a more expansive, more inclusive understanding.

Our Purpose, Mission, and Vision

Our purpose and mission are to guide you on a path that leads not just to success, but to a more flourishing life. A life where you can harness your fullest potential, contribute meaningfully, and thrive in harmony with others. In a society that is increasingly embracing this integral perspective, we stand at the cusp of creating something truly transformative – for you, for us, for everyone. If you bring all of you, to the developmental table, we will bring all of us and together, let's change the world for the better, one integral step at a time.

See the world in new dimensions

Your worldview is unique and has contributed to your success. But each person’s view of the world is deep-rooted. Sometimes it can be incompatible with the problems we face, the relationships we want to have and the things we want to achieve.

Integral Meta Theory allows you to see the world from fresh perspectives. To tackle your challenges from different angles and better understand your own and other people’s behaviours. To think more flexibly and expansively about life, love and your perception of success.

What is integral theory?

What is vertical development and why is it important

When it comes to Integral Theory, you will hear a lot about vertical development. What does it mean? Think of it this way: horizontal development is to do with learning new things and enhancing your knowledge within your existing perspective. Vertical development is about finding new ways to see, think and feel - adding an additional perspective, and wisdom. It is about increasing the sophistication of your system and changes the way in which you see and experience things and the way others experience you. Vertical development is the way to transform your human operating system. Enhancing our vertical development enhances our very existence.
